A bumper eight-race card at Wexford gets underway at 16:10 and we have three win selections for this twilight card...
"Scouting Party looked at least as good as ever when winning at Thurles earlier this month and should be up to following up this afternoon..."
With good recent form thin on the ground in the handicap hurdle at 17:10 it's very hard to oppose the unexposed and progressive Rafi de Triana. In first-time cheekpieces when winning a similar event at Cork last month, she progressed again when runner-up to the impressive Push The Button at Fairyhouse next time. The form of the Liz Doyle yard is another plus and she should take plenty of beating.
Might Be Magic shaped as if on the way back to form when second at Cork last time and looks worthy of an interest in the following handicap at 17:40. It was his best effort for quite some time when a staying-on second to Rafi de Triana last time and, if the visor has the same effect again, he should go close over a trip sure to suit.
Scouting Party looked at least as good as ever when winning at Thurles earlier this month and should be up to following up this afternoon. A fairly useful chaser in 2010/11, he proved that plenty of ability remains with that recent win and it was just his second start for this yard. These conditions shouldn't be a problem and 10 lb hike for that win doesn't look enough.
Back Rafa de Triana in the 17:10
Back Might Be Magic in the 17:40
Back Scouting Party in the 18:10
