Timeform pick out three bets from Cork on Saturday.
Vintage Charm - 14:15 Cork
Vintage Charm has had a rather patchy record this season, but did seem to produce his best effort to date when finishing a length and a quarter second to Jaqen H'ghar over this trip at the Curragh last time. He is clearly on a workable mark based on that (2 lb higher today) and could return to winning ways here. Pacodali should be suited by a return to this trip and looks a danger.
Black Hawk War - 14:50 Cork
Black Hawk War did well to wear down Sharliyna at Limerick last time after conceding first run and marked himself down as a smart prospect with a ready success (he was going further clear at the finish). This new trip should be well within his range and he looks sure to progress further now upped in grade. Sruthan is a winner at this level already and is the standard setter, so could take advantage if the selection fails to progress accordingly.
Creme de La - 17:40 Cork
Creme de La is clearly not one for maximum faith, having finished second on six of her eight starts and throwing the race away on more than one of those occasions. Last time she again refused to go through with her effort when push came to shove in the straight and hung her chance away, but the fitting of a hood for the first time (replacing blinkers) offers some hope for her supporters, and she clearly has plenty of natural ability given the way she goes through her races, so could be worth giving one final chance to.
