Timeform bring you three Boxing Day bets from Ireland.
"Avant Tout and Free Expression look to be the chief dangers, but Outlander sets the standard, and may prove hard to beat."
Leopardstown 13:20 - Footpad
This is a good race, and it would be no surprise if it provided its fair share of subsequent winners. Plenty of these juveniles remain open to improvement, but Footpad - who is prominent in the betting for the Triumph Hurdle - could be the way to go on just his second start for the excellent Willie Mullins. He is narrowly preferred to Grade 3 winner Rashaan.
Leopardstown 13:50 - Dollar And A Dream
This is an open contest, but Dollar And A Dream has shaped better than the bare result on both of his last two starts, including last time in a deep Cheltenham handicap at the Open Meeting with Ruby Walsh on board, and with a bit more luck in running today, he can belatedly capitalise on what is clearly a workable handicap mark.
Limerick 14:10 - Outlander
Outlander wasn't far away from the best of the novice hurdlers last season, and he showed that he will probably end up proving just as good, if not better, over fences, when making an impressive chasing debut at Punchestown last month, in what could turn out to be a good race. Avant Tout and Free Expression look to be the chief dangers, but Outlander sets the standard, and may prove hard to beat.
