There are two meetings in Ireland today and Timeform's irish team have picked out three more SmartPlays....
"Queenscliff has been put up another four pounds for that but it is unlikely that we have seen the best of her yet."
Cry For The Moon (15:00, Gowran) had a good year on the Flat in 2011, winning at Navan in June and finishing second on four other occasions, and will be hard to beat if bringing that level back to hurdles. He hasn't run over hurdles for the best part of two years but looks potentially thrown in on his Flat form and the step up to today's trip will suit.
If Pickapocketortwo is over whatever ailed him at Thurles in January then he should be firmly in the mix in the 16:50 at Sligo . However, he will have his work cut out to give ten pounds to Awkward Moment, a useful hurdler in his own right who comes here on the back of a decisive victory over fences. Trip/ground won't worry Michael Hourigan's charge and he meets most of today's rivals from favourable terms.
The progressive Queenscliff is fancied to see off a big field in the second of two one-mile handicaps at Gowran (17:15). The daughter of Danehill Dancer got off the mark at Dundalk in March and followed that up with a very good half-length second to Brog Deas (won twice since) over today's course and distance last month. She has been put up another 4 lb for that but it is unlikely that we have seen the best of her yet.
