Timeform pick out three bets from Ballinrobe on Monday.
"Prior to that, however, she was a close second in a Grade 3, and a return to that sort of level may see her get back to winning ways here."
Tocororo - Ballinrobe 18:30
This is seemingly a match between the two Gordon Elliott-trained runners Tocororo and Buyer Beware. Tocororo has been contesting some hot races this year including a Grade 2 at Fairyhouse and a Grade 1 at Punchestown, where she was well beaten on both occasions. Prior to that, however, she was a close second in a Grade 3, and a return to that sort of level may see her get back to winning ways here. Buyer Beware has had fewer starts that the selection and will make a race of it if finding some improvement.
Tsundoku - Ballinrobe 19:00
Tsundoku has been allotted a workable-looking mark on the back of her maiden win at Downpatrick at the beginning of this month which she won in cosy fashion in the end. She was strong at the finish that day over eighteen furlongs, so the drop back to this trips a slight concern, but in the hope that this large field can go a decent pace to make this less of a test of speed, then she should go close. Isabella Liberty made it two wins from four starts for Gordon Elliott last time at Sligo and is the obvious danger to the selection.
Lean Times - Ballinrobe 20:00
Lean Times has not tasted success for over four years, but his mark is tumbling significantly as a result, and after posting his best effort for some time when third over two miles at Sligo a week ago, he could be ready to win again now back up in trip (won maiden over C&D in 2012). Best Value is now 3 lb below his last winning mark and looks one of the main dangers along with Urtheoneiwant, who gets the talented Jack Kennedy on his back for the first time.
