Timeform pick out three bets from Leopardstown's top-class Boxing Day card.
Landofhopeandglory - 13:15 Leopardstown
Landofhopeandglory was useful on the Flat for Aidan O'Brien and has since developed into a smart hurdling prospect for Joseph O'Brien, winning all three of his starts in this sphere to date. He had both Bapaume and Mega Fortune in behind him in a Grade 3 juvenile at Fairyhouse last time, and though that form may not be rock-solid (it was a messy race) he should confirm the placings here. Mega Fortune was too free that day and a stronger pace could see him go closer here.
Min - 14:20 Leopardstown
Min was sent off as favourite for the Supreme Novices Hurdle at last season's Cheltenham Festival and lost little caste in defeat behind Altior, who has already added a Grade 1 over fences to his name this season. Min's chasing debut (at Navan last time) was just as impressive as Altior's had been a few days prior, and the prospect of another clash between the pair in the Arkle in March is a mouth-watering one. Before that, however, Min should be well up to adding a few top-level races to his name in this sphere, and can start here at the expense of Identity Thief, who was a Grade 1 winner over hurdles and has a perfect record over fences so far.
Coolaghknock Glebe - 14:55 Leopardstown
Riviera Sun is in the J.P. McManus first silks here and will be popular, but Coolaghknock Glebe could be an interesting betting prospect, after he did enough at Navan last time (third) to think that he can prove better than this mark at some stage. He is rated 10 lb higher by the handicapper over hurdles, and despite being put up 4 lb in the weights after last time, he is one to consider over fences. Gordon Elliott's Ball d'Arc was well clear of the third horse when finishing second on his handicap debut at Navan last time and is a big threat to all.
