Timeform pick out three bets from Roscommon on Monday.
"Tony Martin's charge finished a place behind next-time-out winner Paddy The Celeb there..."
Great Wide Open - Roscommon 18:20
Great Wide Open went down all guns blazing when second over six furlong at Leopardstown last Thursday and looks set to go very close again this afternoon, with the return to seven furlongs likely to suit the gelding if anything, given he beat a big field over the distance at Gowran in May. Great Wide Open gets to run off the same mark as for his latest race and also gets on very well with his jockey Declan McDonagh.
Chilli Spice - Roscommon 19:20
French import Chilli Spice failed to land a meaningful blow in listed company at Saint-Cloud on her latest start in July, but she won a maiden in good style previously and is worth chancing off a potentially handy mark (84) on her debut for her new connections (now trained by Johnny Murtagh). Chilli Jam has won over a mile and a half and is stepping back to a mile and a quarter this evening, but she's out of a half-sister to the very smart sprinter Spirit Quartz.
Jeremy's Jet - Roscommon 20:20
Jeremy's Jet remains a maiden after 12 starts (combined jumps and on the Flat) but he was a big eyecatcher when a well-backed fifth at Galway last month and everything points to him going very close here. Tony Martin's charge finished a place behind next-time-out winner Paddy The Celeb there and benefit from the run given it was his first for three months.
