There is an interesting card at Cork on Thursday and Timeform provide you with the three best bets...
Horendus Hulabaloo appears to have been given a fair opening mark and he makes plenty of appeal in the three-mile handicap hurdle at 16:25...
The minor event at 15:20 is an interesting contest, pitting some useful sorts against one another, but the vote goes to Tarla, who is taken to register a second successive win in the race. Tarla was below par on her seasonal reappearance, fading into fourth in a two-mile mares' chase, but she is entitled to come on for that run and the step back up in trip to two and a half miles is likely to be in her favour. Testing conditions pose no problems for Tarla, something which cannot be said for some of her rivals, so this appeals as a good opportunity for Willie Mullins' mare.
Ever So Much caught the eye on his handicap bow at Down Royal 10 days ago, travelling well for much of the way without being knocked about in the closing stages, and it would be little surprise were he to improve sufficiently to win this afternoon's two-mile handicap hurdle at 15:55. Ever So Much's effort at Down Royal came over two and a half miles, and, considering the way he moved through the race, he may prove even more effective back at the minimum distance. Trainer Charlie Swan has his yard in good order and has found a nice opportunity for Ever So Much to register a first career success.
Horendus Hulabaloo appears to have been given a fair opening mark and he makes plenty of appeal in the three-mile handicap hurdle at 16:25. Mouse Morris's charge won a soft-ground Limerick maiden hurdle on St Stephen's Day, and showed improved form when finishing runner-up to an unexposed rival from the Willie Mullins stable, faring just about as well as could have been expected. He once again found the company he was keeping too strong when only fifth in a Grade 2 back at Thurles, and he should appreciate the drop to calmer waters, his opening mark by no means prohibitive.
