There is racing from Dundalk on Friday and Timeform pick out their three best bets on the card.
"The way he finished suggests this step back up to a mile won't pose any problems..."
Tom Dooley - Dundalk 18:30
Tom Dooley has returned to form for this yard and, having finished a close second over a longer trip on his penultimate starts, he got back to winning ways with a comfortable success over this C&D last time. He was forced to delay his challenge that day and was arguably value for more than the official winning-margin, but the turn of foot he showed once in the clear marked him out as a horse in really good form at present. He looks worth following in his current mood and is fancied to get the better of Elusive In Paris for another win.
Drillmaster - Dundalk 20:00
Unplaced on his five previous career starts, Drillmaster put up a clear career-best to get off the mark on his third try in a handicap last time and gave the impression that there should be more to come. That win came over seven furlongs, but they went a strong gallop there and it was only inside the final furlong that he managed to get his head in front. The way he finished suggests this step back up to a mile won't pose any problems and, with the experience of that first win sure to stand him in good stead, Drillmaster is fancied to follow up here. Ineffable rates the chief danger after her recent win over this C&D.
Rummaging - Dundalk 20:30
Rummaging has been struggling for form since a couple of wins in the summer of last year, but hinted at a revival when second over this C&D on his most recent start. Typically awkward leaving the stalls, he was held up in rear on that occasion and was never quite able to get on terms with the winner. He is expected to reverse form with Marise on these revised terms and, although this race has the potential to develop into a tactical affair, Rummaging can overcome that with a better start here. Ringside Humour looks likely to pose the biggest threat to the selection.

Last year, just in time for the Cheltenham Festival, we introduced Each-Way betting onto the Exchange for the first time. This year, we’re extending the Each-Way experience to include in-running betting, so all the betting and trading opportunities available on Win and Place markets are now available on EW in-play as well.
We’re using our innovative Liquidity Pooling technology – first introduced on Football markets – to make available money in the Win and Place markets also available in the Each Way markets, so Each-Way markets are as liquid as possible.
