Jon Ess - Dundalk 19:00

Jon Ess shaped well when second on his racecourse debut over this C&D, enduring a troubled passage as the field turned into the straight and ultimately doing extremely well to be beaten just a short-head. He is entitled to improve with that initial experience under his belt and should prove extremely difficult to beat in what doesn't look the strongest race of its kind, with the newcomer Beat The Bank feared most of the remainder.

Ligeti - Dundalk 20:30

Ligeti caught the eye when seventh on his handicap debut at this venue last month and duly confirmed the promise of that effort with a comfortable victory back here seven days ago. He appeared to have far more in hand than the official winning margin would suggest that day and, with the possibility of more to come after just five starts, Ligeti is fancied to defy an 8 lb hike in the weights and makes more appeal than the consistent Ciankyle.

Sea of Blue - Dundalk 21:00

Sea of Blue ran creditably when second on her return from six months off the track here three weeks ago, still having plenty to do on the turn for home and keeping on well to be beaten just three-quarters of a length. She should strip fitter with that outing under her belt and looks sure to be thereabouts for her in-form yard (three winners from last eight runners) Serefeli was a game winner over C&D last time and looks the main danger.
