Timeform bring you three tips from Dundalk on Friday.
"Sir Raston looks worth backing to get off the mark tonight."
Times In Anatefka - Dundalk 18:05
Times In Anatefka turned in her best effort for some time when second over six furlongs at this track a fortnight ago, and she can go one better dropped back to five furlongs in the opening race. Adrian Joyce's six-year-old mare was was unlucky to bump into the progressive four-year-old Mr Right in that race, when she also took a strong hold, and she wasn't beaten far (less than a length, actually) over this C&D when third to Little Sweetheart (Mr Right runner-up) the time before.
An Saighdiur - Dundalk 18:35
An Saighdiur disappointed over seven furlongs at this course when last seen in October, but he could have benefited from the break since and has also slipped to his lowest mark (82) for nearly four years. An Saighdiur only won five starts ago, when taking a six-furlong Curragh handicap (off 88, wearing blinkers for just the second time and for the first time since 2011) in August, and he shaped as if back in good nick when ninth of twenty-five in the Ayr Silver Cup (third in the race in 2012 and 2013) on his penultimate start. He's a big price at around 13.012/1.
Sir Raston - Dundalk 21:05
Sir Raston remains a maiden after nine outings, but it's surely significant that the Dermot Weld yard are persevering with him, and he caught the eye when a keeping-on fourth to the reopposing Temasek Star over C&D two weeks ago. Returned to a mile and a half, Sir Raston ran at least as well as on his previous start two months earlier (filled same position behind Udogo over ten furlongs here) and wasn't seen to best effect either, short of room two furlong out and forced wide before running on late. Sir Raston looks worth backing to get off the mark tonight.
