Timeform pick out three bets from Friday's Irish racing.
"He could be the type to take off now tackling handicaps from a lowly mark, and is a fascinating runner here."
Ainslie - 18:40 Kilbeggan
Ainslie left David Simcock after a progressive three-year-old season on the Flat and may well have been brought along with handicaps in mind in this sphere by his new trainer Gordon Elliott this season. Ainslie has had five starts for Elliott so far, and though he hasn't shown much on four of those starts, his penultimate start - where he finished a never-nearer second over two miles at Cork - was eye catching. He could be the type to take off now tackling handicaps from a lowly mark, and is a fascinating runner here.
Westerner Lady - 19:10 Kilbeggan
Hard To Call sets the standard on his second at Roscommon in June and should run well but the feeling is that Westerner Lady should take plenty of beating for the Willie Mullins yard. The winner of four of her five starts over hurdles, she completed a hat-trick last time in a valuable handicap at Galway, beating Wrath of Titans - who has won since - in sixth. She has been most progressive over the smaller obstacles and, in excellent hands, she could continue her rise now tackling fences for the first time.
Dundrum Lad - 19:40 Kilbeggan
The potential improver is Dundrum Lad, a winning pointer who got his career back on track when winning on his chasing debut at Tipperary last month. Dundrum Lad did well to prevail that day, having made a bad error two fences from home which cost him plenty of momentum and meant he conceded first run to a rival. There is a good chance he could prove better than this mark if keeping those mistakes to a minimum today, and he looks the best option ahead of Illtakeitfromhere, who has dropped to 1 lb below his last winning mark and seemed to be building up to something last time over hurdles.
