Timeform pick out three bets from the evening cards at Kilbeggan and Dundalk on Friday.
"Little Stevie looked set for a comfortable victory when falling at the final flight at Cork last month..."
Little Stevie - 17:40 Kilbeggan
Little Stevie looked set for a comfortable victory when falling at the final flight at Cork last month and, although there didn't appear to be a lot of depth to that contest, his effort there still represented a marked improvement on the form of his only previous outing over hurdles. A distant fourth at Limerick earlier that month, his unfortunate departure last time shouldn't detract from what was a fair performance on just his second start in this sphere and, provided he has fully recovered from that fall, Little Stevie can make amends here. Sweet Cherry is a clear second-best of those with previous form over hurdles and appeals as the most likely to fill the forecast spot.
Attenzione - 19:00 Dundalk
Attenzione remains a maiden after 11 starts on the Flat, but he put up his best performance for this yard when fourth on his return from four months off the track at Wolverhampton last time and gave the impression he was up to winning a race of this nature. The blinkers look to have contributed to his recent improvement (worn for the first time when a never nearer sixth on his penultimate start) and, although he is yet to make the frame in three previous visits to this track, Attenzione is fancied to confirm the promise of his most recent outing with a win here. Alcock And Brown should prove the main danger after his win here last week.
Ishebayorgrey - 21:00 Dundalk
Ishebayorgrey was a winner over this C&D in January and concerns about a 7 lb higher mark are offset by his capable young jockey's claim. Oisin Orr is based with the Eddie Lynam yard and, having won on three of his last nine mounts, it is no surprise that he's beginning to pick up a few interesting outside rides. Ishebayorgrey would certainly come under that category after finishing an unlucky third over six furlongs last time, unsuited by the way the race developed and never nearer than at the finish. The step back up to this trip will be in his favour and he is fancied to register the sixth victory of his career here, with the thriving Tribal Path most likely to chase him home.
