We have picked out three SmartPlays on an all Flat card at Cork...
"Chysanthemum is the only member of the field to have won at this level and all of her best form is on ground softer than good."
Kanes Pass finished behind Srucahan when the pair clashed at the Curragh on Tuesday but there is reason to believe that the former can have the better of the argument this time. Kanes Pass was unable to recover after catching a bump soon after halfway in that race but had run really well at Listowel previously, finding only Jappeli too good in a race that has thrown up more than its fair share of subsequent winners. A wide draw shouldn't make too much difference here and Luke Dempsey has really been making a name for himself of late.
Just four are set to face the starter in the Irish Stallion Farms E.B.F. race at 14:40 and the conditions of the race should suit Red Queen who is receiving weight from all of her rivals. She stepped up markedly on her debut effort when finding only Awakend Spirit (won again since) too good at Tipperary in August and further improvement should see her home in front here.
Chrysanthemum hasn't been at her best of late but looks the one to beat in the feature race of the day, the Navigation Stakes, at 15:45. She is the only member of the field to have won at this level and all of her best form is on ground softer than good. This is not a strong race for the grade and the drop back in trip won't inconvenience her.
