Golden Acorn has improved a bit with each of her three runs and looks to have been found a good opportunity to open her account in the fillies maiden at 18:15. She was doing her best work at the finish when third to Romantic Stroll at Leopardstown last week, so the return to this slightly longer trip should suit, and a repeat of that effort should be enough to see her home in this.

Kalacan is a largely frustrating sort who only has one win to his name, but he has been running consistently well this year and looks capable of going close again in the handicap at 18:45. He has been dropped 9 lb in the handicap since the turn of the year despite the fact that he has made the frame on seven occasions this year, and was only run out of things late on over a slightly longer trip at Fairyhouse on his latest start. It is encouraging that Declan McDonogh keeps the ride and he looks well worth an interest in a race where there are four places on offer.

Usa has run well on both visits to this track this season, finishing second to Bank The Bucks in a handicap prior to landing a maiden hurdle in May, but will need to improve again if he is going to play a part back in handicap company at 19:50. Neither of those races have worked out particularly well and an 8 lb penalty may be enough to stop him here. This is a competitive heat so a place lay of Usa is advised.

Back Golden Acorn in the 18:15
Place back Kalacan in the 18:45
Place lay Usa in the 19:50
