There's an interesting card at Meydan on Thursday and Timeform have found three bets.
Prepared has had his fair share of problems, proven by the fact this is just his sixth start since 2012, but he impressed when landing a C&D maiden win two weeks ago by a wide margin and a 4 lb rise seems more than fair...
Meydan 15:35 - Merhee
Merhee is a previous Grade 2 winner in South Africa who also has some smart form to his name here for Mike de Kock. He showed enough aptitude on his sole try on dirt to suggest he can go well in this less demanding grade on debut for a new yard. Ajraam has clear claims after winning off just 4 lb higher last time, along with the veteran Tamaathul, who was fifth that day after missing the break and has dropped in the weights.
Meydan 16:10 - Prepared
Prepared has had his fair share of problems, proven by the fact this is just his sixth start since 2012, but he impressed when landing a C&D maiden win two weeks ago by a wide margin and a 4 lb rise seems more than fair. He's taken to follow up at the expense of State Law, who was progressive last year and might have needed his return, but this trip could prove on the short side. Conquerant looks best of the rest.
Meydan 16:45 - One Man Band
One Man Band was most progressive last year and is forgiven a poor effort last time, particularly as he needed his reappearance run last season; he is taken to get back on track with that outing under his belt. Muhtaram was in top form at around this time last year, including winning this corresponding race, and he's a danger, while Need To Know is another to consider, especially if able to gain a soft lead.
