Timeform's Dubai team pick out the best bets at Jebel Ali on Friday.

"Banaadeer shaped well on debut for Doug Watson here last time and, for all he must concede weight all-round, this grade is much less demanding..."

Jebel Ali 11:35 - Shamaal Nibras

Shamaal Nibras found steady improvement throughout this season and has taken well to this course, winning here in December before finishing a very good third to Forjatt in the Group 3 Jebel Ali Mile last time. There should be more to come still, particularly over this extra furlong. Stablemate Jeeraan is seeking a hat-trick and looks a big player, while this is a welcomed drop in class for Le Bernardin.

Jebel Ali 12:35 - Sholaan

The season hasn't totally gone to plan for Sholaan after his win here in November, but he got back on track when second to Dark Emerald on turf at Meydan last time and his yard have been in flying form at recent meetings here. Rafeej ran better on turf last time after twice previously shaping as if amiss. He holds good claims if back to best, while the consistent Spin Cycle can go close again too.

Jebel Ali 13:05 - Banaadeer

Banaadeer shaped well on debut for Doug Watson here last time and, for all he must concede weight all-round, this grade is much less demanding and he should make a very bold bid with improvement looking likely, particularly dropped back to six furlongs. Sullivan Street finally got off the mark last time and another good run is expected, while Tagseed has had excuses for his last two starts and may surprise a few.
