Timeform pick out the three best bets from the third meeting of the 2016 Dubai World Cup Carnival...
"Elhaame was progressive in winning three times for Godolphin in Britain last season, and his third in the Group 3 Lexus Stakes at Flemington when last seen in October was another cracking effort."
Green Door - 15:35 Meydan
Green Door hasn't long been with Robert Cowell and shaped well here two weeks ago. That effort should bring him on plenty (was reportedly short on work), while the visor which was applied for his impressive win at Beverley in September is now back on. Caspian Prince is well suited to the demands of this track and was a winner here off just 1 lb lower last February. His tendency to hang is a small issue, along with the fact he took a few runs to peak last Carnival. The first-time blinkered Banaadeer and Fityaan could both also play a role.
Elhaame - 17:20 Meydan
Elhaame was progressive in winning three times for Godolphin in Britain last season, and his third in the Group 3 Lexus Stakes at Flemington when last seen in October was another cracking effort. He has the potential to progress further, particularly back over a mile and a quarter, which is arguably his optimum trip. Sanshaawes ran well to be third over C&D two weeks ago and remains on a good mark, while the second that day, Elleval, and Tha'ir rarely run a bad race at this track.
Al Saham - 18:30 Meydan
Al Saham narrowly won this contest twelve months ago before finishing runner-up in a similar event a month later, and though not seen since, this free-going sort looks the type to progress further this season. The improving Tannaaf dead-heated for first in a valuable event in Qatar last month and is worth another try at this trip. He looks a major player, while Norwegian raider Quarterback was eighth that day but should do better back up in trip and isn't dismissed lightly.
