St Moritz was third in a listed event at Doncaster in April and has been operating at a higher level than this since, but hasn't shown enough recently to have faith in now, poor start in cheekpieces latest.
Don't Call Me was good third in the Royal Hunt Cup at Royal Ascot and followed that up with a last-to-first win at Haydock next time. Clearly not at his best latest, but too soon to write him off.
Mirrored scored at Pontefract (handicap) and Carlisle (claimer) this term and put up best effort for some time when readily scoring in C&D handicap latest. Likely to be thereabouts, despite 9 lb higher mark
Take It To The Max scored 4 times over this trip in 2011. Seasonal best so far when third of 11 to Anderiego at York last month. Slowly away latest and could make his presence felt from 1 lb lower in the weights.
Compton was a solid fourth to Fast Or Free in Britannia on return, and better still when close-up third to Van Der Art in 1m handicap at Haydock last time. Off the same mark again and relatively unexposed.
Osteopathic Remedy won this in 2010. Excellent effort when chasing home the smart Farhh in Thirsk Hunt Cup. However, he has disappointed since and must bounce back if he is to capitalise on drop in weights.
Toto Skyllachy was a winner at Beverley in May and other good efforts too, shaping as if back in top form when fourth to Wannabe King at Ayr last time. Obvious claims from 1 lb lower here.
Next Edition produced good efforts when hitting the frame on first 3 starts (around 1m) this term, but no obvious excuses for lesser effort at Redcar last time. Type to bounce back, so shouldn't be dismissed readily.
Timeform View: Toto Skyllachy looked on the way back to his best when third at Ayr last time, and is taken to build on that here. The unexposed Compton looks the main danger, but Mirrored should also have a shout, despite a 9 lb rise for his C&D win recently.
