FLIGHT RISK - 18:50 Leopardstown

Despite his advancing years, FLIGHT RISK clearly retains all his ability, proving at least as good as ever when only narrowly failing to peg back a lightly-raced improver over seven-furlongs at the Curragh last month. Versatile as regards trip, he shades the vote to go one place better back at listed level. There are a number of capable sorts in opposition, though, headed up by Surrounding and Yulong Gold Fairy.

AZTEC EAGLE - 20:30 Leopardstown

AZTEC EAGLE has still looked a bit rough around the edges on both outings in handicaps, but there's still a good deal of potential there when things really click, especially with the emphasis more on stamina, so this well-bred five-year-old is taken to prevail for Dermot Weld, who has a fine 21% strike rate at Leopardstown. Walking On Glass is on the up and should also be thereabouts, along with Agent Zigzag.

MERYEMS WAY - 21:00 Leopardstown

MERYEMS WAY has thrived this season, yet to finish out of the first two in four starts, and she remains of interest having been denied only narrowly off this mark at Listowel on Sunday, despite what is a far from ideal draw here. Queen Guanhumara, who shaped with more encouragement at Fairyhouse last time, and Gatsby Cap head the list of dangers.
