12.25 ROA/Racing Post Owners' Jackpot 'National Hunt' Novices' Handicap Hurdle (4) 2m5f82y

Timeform Top Rated
128 4. GULSHANIGANS Jack R. Barber Nick Scholfield
127 6. THE BROTHERS Colin Tizzard Robbie Power
122 5. APTLY PUT Richard Spencer Sam Twiston-Davies

Analyst's Verdict:
A tricky race with The Brothers receiving the vote. He stepped up on his reappearance when fourth at Chepstow last month giving the impression he has a race in him from this sort of mark. Gulshanigans is clearly an interesting runner for his new yard despite his absence (the market may tell a story), while Rhythm Is A Dancer and Midnight Midge add further spice to the contest.

1.00 Hunts Food Service Mares' Maiden Hurdle (4) 2m5f82y

Timeform Top Rated
128p 1. BALLYBOUGH NORA Jeremy Scott Matt Griffiths
126p 8. MY DIXIE Alan King Wayne Hutchinson
94 6. GET AN OSCAR Peter Bowen Sean Bowen

Analyst's Verdict:
Danse Idol was doing all her best work at the finish when sixth at Cheltenham on her first start for Paul Nicholls last month and the step up in trip looks a good move for her hurdles bow. She is taken to land what could prove an informative contest. Ballybough Nora, Cedar Valley and Printing Dollars head the opposition.

1.30 Weatherbys Racing Bank Silver Buck Handicap Chase (3) 3m1f30y

Timeform Top Rated
142p 3. COBOLOBO Jonjo O'Neill Nick Scholfield
139p 4. SOME CHAOS Michael Scudamore Ben Poste
137 6. CAPTAIN BUCK'S Paul Nicholls Harry Cobden

Analyst's Verdict:
It's slightly concerning that Cobolobo regressed after his reappearance last season, but he has to be the selection given he's ahead of his handicap mark if building on his fine return/ chase debut at Ffos Las. Some Chaos looks one to follow in staying handicap chases and bids for a hat-trick. Reikers Island is less experienced but is another likely to be making his mark in these type of races.

2.05 Hookey Ham Patrick Handicap Hurdle (3) 1m7f65y

Timeform Top Rated
142 8. DARLING MALTAIX Paul Nicholls Lorcan Williams (5)
140 6. OUR MERLIN Robert Walford Stan Sheppard (3)
139 5. MINELLAFORLEISURE Alex Hales Kielan Woods

Analyst's Verdict:
Darling Maltaix pulled 12 lengths clear of the third when bumping into an improver at Taunton last week and looks well treated off the same mark (due to go up 5 lb). Our Merlin came good at a similar time last year and is back on a workable mark, while Alan King's Jaboticaba is also respected on the back of a good comeback run at Hereford.

2.35 Like Racing UK On Facebook Now Handicap Chase (5) 3½m162y

Timeform Top Rated
108p 4. KOVERA Tim Vaughan Alan Johns
103 1. BERMEO Johnny Farrelly Noel Fehily
103x 2. TIKKAPICK Colin Tizzard Robbie Power

Analyst's Verdict:
Kovera has improved since going over the larger obstacles and is still low-mileage in this discipline. He can go in again. Bermeo looks the biggest danger, despite having his winning run ended last time, whilst the returning Tikkapick is worth a second look in the market.

3.10 Raymond Willcox Memorial Amateur Riders' Handicap Chase (4) 2½m35y

Timeform Top Rated
117 5. BARON DU PLESSIS Ian Williams Mr Charlie Todd (7)
115§ 1. BOY IN A BENTLEY Neil Mulholland Mr Liam Harrison (7)
114§ 3. ALF 'N' DOR Peter Bowen Mr Peter Bryan (5)

Analyst's Verdict:
Baron du Plessis continues to prove expensive to follow, yet he has shaped as though this sort of mark is within reach on a number of occasions, and he could be worth chancing to put it all together equipped with first-time cheekpieces. Boy In A Bentley is proving consistent and rates the leading threat, ahead of Alf 'N' Dor.

3.40 Jockey Club Catering "Junior" Standard Open National Hunt Flat (5) 1m7f65y

Timeform Top Rated
96 3. COTSWOLD PRINCE Martin Keighley Harry Stock (5)
94 8. NOBLE SAFFRON David Bridgwater Daniel Hiskett (5)

Analyst's Verdict:
Several likely types on paper in what could be a warm race. Dimmesdale gets the nod for a yard which had a winning newcomer last week but Handsome Samson, Prudhomme, Fearless and the Alan King pair Perfect Predator and Sheshoon Sonny all make appeal on pedigree and the betting will provide more clues.
