Nick Shiambouros was on the mark yesterday when his selection Come On Tier won at a generous BSP 9.2. Nick hopes to end his current stint in the tipping chair with two winners from Lingfield...
"This was a promising effort, and should be a lot wiser for the run"
12:15 Lingfield - Bubble And Squeak
Bubble And Squeak should make her presence felt in this maiden.
This Mastercraftsman filly finished second to Revalue on debut at Kempton earlier this month. She held every chance a furlong from home, but the winner proved the stronger near the line. This was a promising effort, and should be a lot wiser for the run. I think she will go close and is attractively priced at 7.613/2 on the exchange.
Sir Michael Stoute sends out Scandaleuse who represents high profile connections. She has finished second on both starts and does not look the strongest in a finish. Her dam won the Grade 1 Spinster at Keenland, and a victory here would enhance her paddock value. She looks short enough at 3.052/1 on the exchange.
13:20 Lingfield - Muffri'Ha
Muffri'Ha is taken to win this race for the second year in a row.
This consistent mare has been placed at the highest level, and was not beaten all that far when finishing seventh to Roly Poly in the Sun Chariot at HQ last month. She takes her racing well, and often reserves her best for this time of year. I will be surprised if she does not go close for her in form conditioner. At present she is trading at 3.39/4 on the exchange.
Promising Run merits consideration. She looked a little ring rusty on her seasonal reappearance at Goodwood in September, but has some decent form in the book including a Group 2 victory at Meydan last winter. She is the solid second choice at 3.8514/5 on the exchange.
