Sandy Steve - 19:30 Chelmsford
Despite being briefly trapped behind horses, Sandy Steve made good ground to get back to winning ways at Kempton last month, putting his Brighton disappointment behind him. He recorded a good time for the grade that day in a race that has already produced two subsequent winners, and, currently two from two on artificial surfaces, it will be disappointing if he isn't thereabouts once again.

Dan Gun - 15:50 Taunton
Dan Gun got off the mark at the eighteenth time of asking in a similar event to this at Huntingdon last month, but is uncertain to be in the same form here now back up 7 lb. Another career best will be in order if Fergal O'Brien's charge is going to make it back-to-back victories here and that looks unlikely, particularly with Hahadi looking set for a big run after recording some solid form in fairly strong handicaps in the spring.
Smart Stat
Great Ambassador - 17:00 Chelmsford
£75.46 - Ralph Beckett's profit to a £1 level stake with horses running in first time headgear
Great Ambassador ran second to subsequent listed winner Pyledriver at Salisbury in June, before going close again when third at Glorious Goodwood, and connections look to have found him a good opportunity to get off the mark at the fifth time of asking. Ralph Beckett's colt shaped as though still in form when last seen at Doncaster and has a big chance here sporting a first-time tongue strap.
