Timeform pick out bets from Lingfield on Thursday...

"This sharper track should play to his strengths over this trip..."

Waqt - 12:45 Lingfield

A first career win could be on the cards for Waqt, who finished well when runner-up over this trip at Kempton in October and probably found the one-mile trip too stiff a test at the same course 13 days later. Eddiebet needs considering on the back of his solid C&D effort, while El Torito is lurking on a dangerous mark and Captain Pugwash has to be taken seriously following his recent victory at Chelmsford.

Corazon Espinado - 14:55 Lingfield

Corazon Espinado had shown just modest form in minor events, but he showed much improved form making his nursery debut over this C&D last time, beaten half a length in second. Given his price tag and pedigree, it wasn't a surprise he was able to go close from a lowly mark and, having been raised only 3 lb, he is fancied to go close. Hollywood Dream and Conflagration may emerge as the chief threats.

Hamish McGonagain - 15:30 Lingfield

Hamish McGonagain isn't long with David O'Meara, but has still managed to win twice and judged on his latest run when only narrowly denied at Wolverhampton, he remains in top form. He is still fairly treated judged on the pick of his form and this sharper track should play to his strengths over this trip. Art Nouvelle dips in class and is a threat, with last-time-out winner Varsovian another to consider.
