What A Red proved better than ever to resume winning ways over this trip at Durbanville last time and a repeat of that effort should see her follow up here. Opera gets the vote for second, while Elbi might be worth siding with for third.

#12 Jagesa Jagesa - Vaal R8 (15:10 BST)

Admittedly, Jagesa Jagesa hasn't been at his best recently, but as a result his handicap mark is on the slide, and he is looking too well treated to ignore now. Sleepinseattle should be right in the mix as well, while Serendipity might well have a say too.

#6 Mutrib - Vaal R9 (15:45 BST)

Mutrib ran at least as well as ever when third here last time over slightly shorter, and he is well worth a try at this longer trip given the way he shaped that day. Highlander is the most prudent second option, while French Leave should also be considered.
