Nick Shiambouros hopes to end his current stint in the tipping chair with a couple of winners from Carlisle and Chelmsford...
"I think he will handle the transition to the all-weather and should move forward"
Back Wise Ruler in the 17:45 at Chelmsford
Imperial the right call
13:55 Carlisle - Imperial Aura
Imperial Aura should open his account over hurdles in this interesting contest.
This gelding won a bumper in great style at Ludlow in April. He made all the running, and pulled clear a furlong from home to win with complete authority. I think this likeable individual is open to a good deal of improvement and should go close. At present he is trading at 2.747/4 on the exchange.
Renwick finished second to the progressive Doux Pretender at Towcester in May. His jumping lacked fluency, but kept on well without troubling the easy winner. At present he is trading at 4.3100/30 on the exchange.
Make the Wise choice
17:45 Chelmsford - Wise Ruler
Wise Ruler can give trainer Simon Chrisford another winner in this novice stakes.
This colt finished third to Kaloor earlier this year. He held every chance a furlong from home, but failed to quicken when the pace lifted. I think he will handle the transition to the all-weather and should move forward. In addition the fourth placed finisher Ginistrelli gave the form a boost winning at HQ yesterday. At present he is trading at 5.14/1 on the exchange which is more than fair.
Red October heads the market at 3.185/40 on the exchange. He finished a closing second to Brian Epstein at Kempton and is the main danger to the selection.
