Back
Coolagh Magic - 20:25 Doncaster
COOLAGH MAGIC ran with credit last time when staying on for third over a shorter trip and this step back up to a conventional six furlongs can see him get his head back in front. He had hinted that he was coming back to form on his penultimate start at Chester when given an impossible task on ground he hadn't produced his best form on and with quick ground looking likely here and him lurking on the mark he won off most recently, he looks primed for a big run.
Lay
Incredulous - 19:05 Newbury
INCREDULOUS looks worth opposing at Newbury considering she had the run of the race last time when taking a minor event. Her form before that had been disappointing given connections. The principals that day haven't come out to test the level of form but the suggestion from the clock suggests it wasn't all that strong and she can be taken on here with the rest of the field having claims themselves.
SmartStat
Unresolved - 13:45 Sandown
24% - Silvestre De Sousa's strike rate at SANDOWN PARK
Mark Johnston can ready newcomers and often sends a useful type to Sandown for their debut. His representative here, UNRESOLVED, looks to be one to add to that theory. He's a colt by Frankel and out of a middle-distance mare suggesting that this stiff seven furlongs is going to be what needs on debut to put his best foot forward for a yard that can ready one first time. Silvestre De Sousa rides Sandown extremely well operating at a 24% strike rate and can steer this well-bred colt to success.
