Timeform pick out three bets from Southwell and Chelmsford on Thursday.
"...will remain of interest, with her pedigree giving hope she will be effective round here..."
Silchester - 14:35 Southwell
Silcheseter made plenty of appeal on paper - especially round here - and looked potentially useful when making a winning debut over a mile here earlier this month, strong in the betting and well in command to score by three lengths. He knew his job, but seems sure to improve further for that experience and should prove hard to beat here. Jumeirah Street looks an interesting newcomer and it will be interesting to see how she fares in the market.
Avocet - 16:20 Southwell
Avocet didn't have things go her way at Kempton last time and is better judged on her previous form. She took a strong hold early, and was hampered at halfway, having to wait for a gap around two furlongs from home but staying on well once in the clear. Avocet wasn't unduly punished, though, and will remain of interest, with her pedigree giving hope she will be effective round here. Leonard Thomas was caught way too far back at Newcastle last time and is better judged on his pair of placed efforts here prior to that.
Surrey Blaze - 20:30 Chelmsford
The hat-trick beckons for Surrey Blaze, who made it two from two in handicap company/on the all-weather when scoring in decisive fashion over this C&D last month. He's now 7 lb higher in a more competitive race, but there's almost certainly more to come. Father Ailbe has to be feared following his recent victory at Lingfield, for all that dropping back in trip may not be ideal, and Hollywood Dream makes each-way appeal.
