Boytonrath - 14:45 Ballinrobe

The Gordon Elliott-trained BOYTONRATH has improved markedly for the switch to handicaps in recent weeks, finishing runner-up in a brace of big-field contests. She was well-backed at Down Royal last time and from just a 2-lb higher perch could be the answer here. Theatre Run, Sunset Sadie and Athloman Cottage are just a trio of possible dangers.

Court Artist - 15:15 Ballinrobe

Bumper-winner COURT ARTIST failed to meet expectations on hurdling debut (made mistakes), but she's sure to do better over this longer trip and this looks a good opening. She's closely related to the fairly useful hurdler Araucaria (2½m winner), who stayed 3m, and is a half-sister to the useful hurdler Private Malone (2½m-2¾m winner). Now Let Go shaped well on her hurdles debut after a long absence and is a clear next best.

Gibbstown - 17:25 Ballinrobe

The 11-year-old mare GIBBSTOWN was runner-up a couple of times when last seen in March and has been given an excellent chance to make a winning return off 11 lb lower. Though her record fresh isn't anything to write home about, the generous drop from the handicapper may facilitate a fifth win under Rules, especially as she handles testing ground well. Aranhill Rascal and Caniwillyegiveme, who was a respectable third at Tramore last time, can battle for minor honours.
