That form leaves Falco Blitz 3 lb clear of the field on weight-adjusted ratings here, and with further progress on the cards, he looks sure to take all the beating. Daario Naharis should also have more to offer and can give the selection most to do, along with Jatiluwih.

NIGHT OF SIN - 15:00 Ludlow

A determined winner at Fontwell in January, NIGHT OF SIN produced his best effort yet in this discipline to follow up from 5 lb higher at Leicester last time, making the running and fighting back gamely when tackled in the straight to get the verdict by a neck. Nick Williams' charge has a further 3 lb rise in the weights to contend with in a better race here, but his attitude will continue to stand him in good stead and he remains potentially well treated judged on the pick of his form over fences, with the fine form of his yard of late (three winners and three placed from last 11 runners) an ongoing recommendation, too. C&D winner Gortroe Joe and Midnight Chill rate next best.

BALLOTIN - 17:15 Ludlow

BALLOTIN completed a simple task without any fuss at Leicester last month, and though this is a far better race, he should leave the bare form of that win behind in time, given that he was capable of useful form in 2017/18. Arthur's Secret is an uncomplicated ride with a good strike rate, so has to command respect, with Delegate another to consider despite a heavy point defeat recently.
