Landofhopeandglory has been doing his racing over fences of late, but he's a 13 lb better horse on Timeform ratings over hurdles, and he should have too much class for this field provided the switch rejuvenates him slightly. Poly Rock is still open to improvement but faces a tough task at the weights, as does Dr Mikey, so Joseph O'Brien's charge looks by far the best option in what could prove to be a trappy affair.

Jennys Grey - Cork 15:50

While Jennys Grey has yet to win in 12 starts over hurdles, she shaped well when third on her first start over three miles at Clonmel last time, giving the impression that she might have given the winner more to think about if granted a clear run. She's been shaping nicely of late, and is fancied to put everything together here and record and overdue success. Hussle Up and Lagenod are a couple of others to consider in an open heat.

Our Jerry - Cork 16:25

Our Jerry ran well after 838 days off the track when second over hurdles at Ayr last month, just finding a well-backed one who had the run of the race too good on the day, and he looks to have leading claims of going one better this time around provided that he doesn't bounce here after such a long absence. The in-form Still Alive will be ready to pick up the pieces if Our Jerry is unable to give his running.
