Nick Shiambouros hopes to end his current stint in the tipping chair with a couple of winners from Chepstow and Doncaster...
"This was her best piece of form to date and further improvement is expected"
14:20 Chepstow - Kimifive
Kimifive is worth an investment in this interesting contest.
This colt put in an improved effort at Salisbury last month when finishing fourth to Veejay. He held every chance inside the final furlong, but failed to quicken on the rain softened ground. I thought that was a decent effort, and is entitled to move forward. He will appreciate the better ground and is fairly priced at 4.77/2 on the exchange.
Ragstone View heads the market at 3.259/4. He finished fourth to Etefaaq at HQ last time out after refusing to settle. He is best judged on his promising fifth to the talented Nyaleti at Salisbury. If he relaxes better, he will give the selection a race.
18:10 Doncaster - Tig Tog
Tig Tog should make her presence felt in this large field of maidens.
This filly finished a close second to Time Change at Newbury last month. She delivered a strong challenge well inside the final furlong, but the winner pulled out a bit more near the line. This was her best piece of form to date and further improvement is expected. I think she will go close and is attractively priced at 4.1 on the exchange.
Debutant Piccola Collina is the current favourite at 3.412/5. She is by Dubawi and is out of a mare that won a Group 1 as a two-year-old. She has the pedigree to win at first asking, and must be respected.
Vodka Pigeon merits consideration. She was a tad disappointing behind Oriental Song at HQ last month, but ran as if something was amiss.
