Fancy Footings shaped with plenty of promise on his first start for Joseph O'Brien since leaving the Gordon Elliott team at Gowran last time, not being ideally placed as a hold-up performer with how things panned out. He may do better still considering was his first try in handicap company, and he looks open to plenty of improvement arriving here off the same mark as last time. A Step Too Far is also open to further progress and rates the chief danger, whilst recent winner Raffaello must also be respected.

Invasion Day - Leopardstown 20:20

A trappy handicap, in which it looks worth siding with Invasion Day. He was no match for a decidedly useful type when second at Navan last time, but there was no disgrace in that, and he should fare much better off his current mark now switched back to handicap company. Tennessee Wildcat figures on a handy mark and is also worth a second look at the likely forecast odds.

Time For Mabel - Leopardstown 20:50

Time For Mabel was unable to complete a double over C&D two weeks ago, but he ran even better in defeat than he did when winning the time before, eating up plenty of ground after a slow start late on, finishing third. He pulled clear of the remainder that day, and, if he's given a slightly more positive ride he should be able to resume winning ways. One Cool Poet is fit from hurdling and is respected back on the level, along with New Vocation.
