17:40 - KIRINGA (3) produced a career-best when a narrow second on her most recent outing at Goodwood and showed enough to suggest she is up to winning a race of this nature before the summer is out. Indeed, that form leaves her 4 lb clear of all bar Frangarry on Timeform ratings here and Kiringa is fancied to overcome her wide draw in this opening leg of the Placepot.
18:10 - ELAND ALLY (1) ran poorly when last of seven on his most recent outing at Lingfield, but takes a significant drop in class here and should be thereabouts if returning to anything like the form he showed when successful over this C&D in March. He is joined in the Placepot by WILLOW SPRING (5), who was a decisive winner at Yarmouth last month and showed she can be competitive off this mark when third at Bath nine days later.
18:40 - PULSATING (9) appeared unsuited by the step up in trip when down the field at Newcastle last time, but should be seen to better effect now returned to the same C&D as when second here in July and is by far the most solid proposition in what doesn't look the strongest race for the grade.
19:10 - KINDLY (5) can be forgiven a below par effort when seventh at Pontefract in June, forced to race wide from her draw and doing too much too soon in trying to get to the front. She had previously looked a fairly useful prospect when shedding her maiden tag at Chelmsford and - 2 lb clear of her nearest rival on Timeform ratings - Kindly deserves another chance to confirm the promise of that outing and can give Jim Crowley another winner in his bid to become champion jockey for the first time.
19:40 - TAWFIK (7) shaped well when fourth on his racecourse debut at Chepstow last month and left the impression he would improve significantly with that initial experience under his belt. The bare form of that effort gives him plenty to find with PADDY A (4) on Timeform ratings and that rival is also considered for Placepot purposes, having shown no ill effects from an earlier fall when third on his most recent outing at Chelmsford.
20:10 - AGAINST THE ODDS (6) appeared unsuited by the track when third at Catterick last month, off the bridle well before the straight and the first two long gone by the time he gathered any momentum. The way he finished the race suggested he is still in top form, though, and he is the marginal call in a race where there is just 1 lb to separate five of the six runners on Timeform ratings.
20:40 - LUANG PRABANG (4) ran the best race of her short career to date when fourth at Kempton last month and is fancied to get off the mark at the sixth time of asking, with the return to seven furlongs expected to see her in an even better light.
21:10 - ALSACIENNE (4) has made a solid start to life in handicaps and should prove extremely difficult to beat off the same mark as when second at Epsom last time, especially with Luke Morris taking over in the saddle once again.
