There is racing from Wolverhampton on Monday, and Timeform take you through the card.
"Her last win - while she was still trained by Olly Stephens - came over this C&D from 3 lbs lower in the weights..."
14:20 - Secret Interlude had been progressive early on in nurseries, but was disappointing last time at Chelmsford, and has a bit to prove now for win purposes. Kevin Ryan has been in excellent form recently, and his Candy Banter is an interesting contender now fitted with headgear - usually a positive given her yard - and upped in trip for her handicap debut. Ashford Island was well supported before disappointing last time at Lingfield, and is worth another chance based on his pedigree.
14:50 - Israfel was better than the result last time on handicap debut when poorly positioned, and with the step up to this trip set to suit based on the way she shaped that day, she looks set to go well from the same handicap mark. It is unsurprising to see early money for More Kudos on his handicap debut based on his smart US pedigree, which should stand him in good stead as he tackles a synthetic surface for the first time, and a much-improved performance looks on the cards.
15:25 - Flambeuse progressed well while racing in France in 2015, and recorded a career-best performance on her penultimate start at Deauville, but after sustained support last night (opened at around 7/1) she is now far too short in the betting based on what we know of her. The support for Flambeuse has made the market for a bet on Pinotage, who won over C&D last time out in the style of one who could go in again, and he looks the value at the current prices to foil the gamble on Harry Dunlop's filly.
16:00 - Current favourite Miss Minuty just about saw out this trip here last time when third, and may well have gone close with a better position, but her price is short enough from a betting perspective, for all she is facing some out-of-form opponents today. One of those is Gabrial The Terror, who has been below form on four of his last starts, but was rampant here this time last season in this headgear, and looks a sporting alternative to the favourite given that he has dropped below his last winning mark.
16:30 - Though Milrow dipped below the level of form he had previously shown when third at Lingfield last time, he still sets the standard here, and with no heavy support for any of the newcomers, he looks the most solid option to at least bagb a place for his third successive start.
17:00 - This could be Robins Pearl's ideal trip, seeing as she seemed to find 12 furlongs at Kempton last time too far, and 8.5 furlongs two starts back at this track too much of a test of speed. Her last win - while she was still trained by Olly Stephens - came over this C&D from 3 lbs lower in the weights, and she looks to have a good chance of reversing form with the re-opposing Hernando Torres, considering he has yet to defy a mark in the 70s after several attempts.
17:30 - Solar Deity looks to have a good opportunity to end a losing streak that stretches back over two years, but he is not entirely straight forward, and can probably be avoided. Afonso De Sousa has made the running before, and could enjoy the run of the race, though overall this is a trappy race and certainly one to watch.
18:00 - Foylesideview's C&D win has thrown up plenty of subsequent winners, and a 4-lb rise does not seem beyond him based on the way he shaped here earlier this month when given plenty to do. The combination of a wide draw and a his current price means that he doesn't quite warrant a bet, for all he is the most likely winner. Lynngale has gone off hard on her last couple of starts, and may well have more to offer than the bare form shows.
