"He probably isn't fully exposed at this level and is worth backing to make amends."

16:05- Krystallite and Shine Likeadiamond have both been knocking on the door of late, and should have this fairly modest race between them, with the former narrowly preferred for Placepot purposes given that she has shown the better form.

16:40- Current favourite Innocently has been running creditably at this level, but she has had every chance on her last two starts, which came over C&D, and looks one to take on as a result. Light From Mars finished strongly last time when third over C&D, and is a player considering he is unexposed over this trip, while Loumarin - in front of Light From Mars that day - is worth another chance after running poorly on fibresand last time. Loumarin has only had six starts for Michael Appleby, so further improvement is not out of the question, and she could be worth a small bet at the prices.

17:10- James Bond Girl sets the standard here of those with experience, after showing some fairly useful form in France for Andre Fabre. Of the others, Flowers On Venus has come in for some early market support, and looks a good prospect on paper, despite having her initial sales price drop significantly.

17:40- Archange showed some fair form in France for his former yard, including on an all-weather surface, is interesting here on his second start for John James Fearn, with Graham Gibbons booked for the ride. Lucky Di was flying too high when well beaten in a conditions event last time, but will be a player here based on her most recent handicap form, and is also worth including.

18:10- Hazel Blue was left with a lot to do when getting off the mark on just her second start for David O'Meara here last time, and a 5-lb rise in the weights may not be enough to see her follow up, with improvement a distinct possibility given the excellent yard she has joined.

18:40- Roman De Brut looks to have a good chance of following up from his C&D success last week here, where he did well to catch a well-ridden opponent, but is short price coupled with his wide draw tempers enthusiasm betting-wise. Zarliman is still a maiden, and although probably vulnerable once again for win purposes, has been given a real chance by the handicapper, so is worth including for Placepot purposes in the final leg.

19:10- Hercullian Prince has been running right up to his best since joining Conor Dore from Olly Stephens, and was not seen to best effect last time at this venue over a slightly shorter trip than this, being poorly positioned and left with a lot to do. He probably isn't fully exposed at this level and is worth backing to make amends.

19:40- Neil Mulholland has enjoyed some recent success in this sphere, and Mrs Burbidge, who has yet to show much over obstacles, could be the way to go in the last. Mrs Burbidge won twice at Les Landes over the summer, and although that form is hard to assess, this is a weak race, and it may well be enough to account for some of these characters.

16:40- 1,9
