Timeform take you through the card at Wolverhampton on Friday evening.
17:45 - HIDDEN GEM (4) returned to form with a good second on her most recent outing at Chelmsford, travelling smoothly in the leaders' slipstream throughout and keeping on well to get within a length of the well-treated winner. That form gives her the edge over Binky Blue on Timeform ratings and Hidden Gem is taken to confirm the promise of last time with victory in this opening leg of the Placepot.
18:15 - TRICORN (5) shaped with promise when runner-up on his racecourse debut at Kempton two weeks ago, looking in need of the experience early and doing extremely well in the circumstances to be beaten just a length and a quarter behind a fair sort. He is entitled to improve with that initial outing under his belt and Tricorn can get off the mark at the second time of asking in what doesn't look the strongest race of its kind.
18:45 - FAST PLAY (1) is thriving at present and made it two wins from his last three starts with a career-best effort at this venue six days ago. She could yet prove capable of better on just her second start for Conor Dore and, while a 6 lb hike in the weights makes life tougher here, Fast Play remains one to keep onside in her current mood and makes most appeal in this third leg of the Placepot.
19:15 - ZANDRADEE (5) appeared to have something in hand when making a successful racecourse debut at Southwell in January and fared better than the bare result when sixth on her first start in a handicap at Newcastle two weeks ago. She still looked in need of the experience that day, but was only beaten three and a half lengths and should be thereabouts if making the expected progress here.
19:45 - BLAZE OF GLORY (1) failed to meet market expectations when last of three on his most recent outing at Lingfield, but he was still only beaten a neck and gave the impression he would have benefited from a stronger gallop. He is better-judged on the form of his earlier victory at the same venue and, with the possibility of more to come after just three starts, Blaze of Glory shades the vote from Fear The Fury and can regain the winning thread.
20:15 - ROWLESTONE LASS (1) looked in need of the outing when down the field after 17 months off the track over this C&D last time, forced wide on the turn for home and not persevered with once her chance had gone. She certainly showed enough to suggest she retains plenty of ability and, with George Baker taking over in the saddle here, Rowlestone Lass is fancied to see off the attentions of Favorite Girl and can take advantage of a lenient mark in this final leg of the Placepot.
