Timeform take you through the card at Warwick on Thursday.
12:55 - DON BERSY (2) had Alcanar and Black Buble well behind when scoring in similar conditions at Sandown earlier this month and is taken to follow up in the opener. That said, had Dino Velvet not fallen in a Cheltenham Grade 2 on his hurdling debut he'd have probably recorded useful form, which is better than Don Bersy has achieved so far, and he made no mistake next time. He did bomb in a Grade 1 last time, though.
13:25 - WIZARD'S SLIABH (2) showed improved form despite not winning at Ludlow last month and she remains one to be interested in going forward. She's taken just over Ms Parfois, who has been highly tried both starts over hurdles and the booking of Richard Johnson catches the eye - the pair's task has been made easier by Rosie McQueen being taken out of the race.
14:00 - Another small field in which none can really be ruled out, though YANMARE (5) is undoubtedly on an upward curve over fences, completing a hat-trick of successes at Towcester in December before having excuses at Newbury last time, and he's fancied to get back on the up. Admirable 14-year-old Incentivise and Financial Climate may well emerge as the chief threats.
14:35 - This could be the race that whittles down the Placepot and makes for a much bigger dividend for those who successfully navigate it. COURT FRONTIER (11) was a decisive winner of a handicap chase at Chepstow recently and escapes a penalty for that success now switched back to the smaller obstacles, so he's certainly one to include. Godsmejudge, another better known as a chaser, has been backed into second favourite but we prefer TOP BILLING (3) as our second inclusion over Desert Retreat.
15:10 - Actually, the Placepot has just got even trickier thanks to a big-field hunter chase. OPEN HEARTED (3) has some very useful form to his name at his best and is capable when fresh, so may be up to making a winning hunter debut for the Dan Skelton yard. DOLATULO (8) and Grand Vision are a couple of obvious big dangers assuming this doesn't come too soon on the back of their return at Kelso (finished second and third respectively behind Black Thunder) 11 days ago on very testing ground. Pearlysteps also makes the shortlist.
15:45 - A bumper entry for the bumper has seen it split into two divisions. The impression created by KING OF REALMS (2) when he made a winning debut at Ascot was such that it's not difficult to see him defying a penalty despite the presence of several other interesting types, including Puppet Warrior, who achieved plenty when a staying-on second at Plumpton first time up, and winning pointer Forgetthesmalltalk. We'll bank on King of Realms and keep our fingers crossed.
16:20 - DUKE DEBARRY and Allez Jacques both look certain improvers having shaped nicely on debut, so they're taken against the field in the finale, with marginal preference for the former, whose top stable has an excellent record in these events. Unbeaten pointer Talkischeap will be much better than the form he showed in Ireland on Rules debut back in the spring starting out for Alan King
