12:45 - The odds-on Winningtry (10) is an obvious banker for the first, having shaped encouragingly sent hurdling after seven months off at Aintree earlier this month. He travelled best there and is likely to strip fitter for the run, with the drop in trip in his favour. Newton Abbot bumper winner Misterton is respected, but for those looking to chance their arm, the former David Pipe, Tom George and Henry de Bromhead inmate Seven Nation Army has been second on six occasions over hurdles.

13:15 - A small field and this is where it gets interesting. Fair to Middling (1) gets the nod; he's a couple of lb clear on Timeform ratings and, with his yard in good form, has been well-supported this morning. Point recruit Lost in Lecce looks potentially well-treated for her handicap debut but is short enough in the market. There are no guaranteed pace angles here so Quarryman (3), in first-time cheekpieces, could benefit from an easy lead and he is included as a second selection.

13:45 - Minellacelebration looked a little outclassed upped into a 0-135 last time at Exeter, so whilst he is respected, preference is for Fort Worth (8). Jonjo O'Neill's yard is in good form at present and this horse has been placed on his last three completed starts. He needs a strong pace to be seen to best effect but should get that here, with the in-form (when last seen) Relentless Dreamer unlikely to allow Minellacelebration an easy lead. Chasing newcomer Luccombe Down likes good going and he is respected more than Earthmoves, whose three wins have all come on testing ground.

14:20 - The unpenalised Miracle Cure won with authority a week ago at Wincanton, however he's not the greatest placepot contender, considering that was his first win, it was a weak race, and his best efforts have come when fresh. He could easily make that statement looks foolish, but Irish recruit Tsundoku (10) - having her first start for Alex Dunn - and Billy My Boy (12) - who will appreciate the drop in trip on better ground - make more appeal at decent odds. Clic Work is better than his effort at Ascot last month would suggest and he is considered, too.

14:55 - The market support for You Too Pet (2) could prove significant, with a professional jockey taking over in the saddle, and the winning pointer gets the vote on his return to action in a weak race. A tongue-tie and blinkers will need to help Somerset Lias with his jumping, but if it does then he rates the main danger on a mark of 98. He may be winless in 26 starts but most have come from much higher marks. Replacement Plan is the pick of the rest as he is more proven over this sort of trip than Fine Resolve.

15:25 - Mystery Drama (10) hasn't threatened in seven starts for Alex Dunn but she is now very well handicapped and the combination of good ground and a step up in trip could see her reward backers. Lets Go Duchess (6) heads the market having been unlucky to bump into a well-treated rival at Wincanton earlier this month and, as she gets to race off the same mark here, she is a second selection, preferred to The Kvilleken who hasn't always convinced with his finishing effort but has a string of places to his name in 2016.

Recommendations:

Win back MYSTERY DRAMA (10) in the 15:25

Placepot permutation:

12:45 - 10
13:15 - 1, 3
13:45 - 8
14:20 - 10, 12
14:55 - 2
15:25 - 6, 10
