There is a good jumps card from Southwell on Sunday and Timeform take you through the card.

"He is 5 lb lower in this sphere..."

14:00 - An interesting novice chase for the time of year. Saint Charles never really fulfilled his potential over hurdles for Nicky Henderson, but made a winning start for Ben Haslam over fences here last time. He is a key player here, but he may well struggle to give plenty of weight to STEPHANIE FRANCES (7), who needs to bounce back from two falls in two starts over fences, but has shown an aptitude for chasing and remains capable of better for the in-form Dan Skelton yard.

14:30 - A third run in five weeks may well have been to blame for SONNESOFPRESENTING'S (1) flat run at Perth last time, and after being given a five-week break, he is worth another chance to build on his debut second in this sphere which came over three miles at this track in June.

15:00 - CERNUNNOS (2) looked booked for second in the valuable Summer Plate at Market Rasen behind Long House Hall but for a heavy fall at the last, and if he has recovered from that after a four-week break he may well be able to gain compensation here. CUSHEEN BRIDGE (8) was idling in front when winning at Market Rasen last time, and should still be competitive from a 7 lb higher mark given that he already seems a better chaser than he was a hurdler.

15:30 - YOUNG DILLON (5) progressed well through novice events last season, winning at Market Rasen and Wetherby (over this trip) on his final two starts. He is expected to take plenty of beating here against some more exposed rivals.

16:05 - GRAND GIGOLO (3) was let down by his jumping on more than one occasion during his four chasing starts this summer, and the return to hurdling seems a good idea. He defied a 3 lb lower mark than this at Ludlow in 2014, and should run well for Ian Williams, who has been amongst the winners on the Flat recently.

16:35 - WIFFY CHATSBY (1) is another horse reverting to hurdles from fences in the second division of this race, but he has been in far better form over the larger obstacles, having finished second on his last three starts. He is 5 lb lower in this sphere, and, having placed off a 1 lb higher mark over fences last time, he looks a very strong contender for the in-form Peter Bowen yard in a modest contest.

17:05 - Potentially a match between Irish-raider Vintage Salon and Richard Fahey's Miss Benefitz. Both are lightly raced and probably capable of more than they have shown to date, but Vintage Salon just shades the verdict from a ratings perspective on her win at Roscommon in July.

17:35 - A race which is tight at the top, with the likes of Deserter, No Ceiling, Cougar Kid and Needless Shouting only separated by a couple of lbs on Timeform ratings. Deserter has not had long with his excellent new yard, however, and narrowly gets the verdict dropping back in trip after perhaps being stretched by two and a half miles at Worcester last time.
