Timeform take you through the card at Plumpton on Sunday, which features the Sussex National.
"...Billy No Name has conditions to suit, is on the upgrade, and looks the bet of the day.."
14:15 - Not a lot splitting Royal Vacation and King Cool on the figures and it might pay to side with the latter. The step back up in trip and return to better ground should suit Gary Moore's runner, and it's interesting that the trainer has won this race in two of the last six years. Royal Vacation combines cheek-pieces and a tongue tie for the first time.
14:50 - Testing conditions and a small field seems to have suited Slidecheck of late and Alex Dunn's charge can complete his hat-trick. Rocknrobin is respected but he has to deal with an 8 lb rise in the weights for his C&D win last time, and that form doesn't look as solid as Slidecheck's. Goring Two is a big danger. He holds Slidecheck on their run here in January, is at home in the mud, and looks on a fair mark once again.
15:25 - An early mistake didn't help Like Sully here last time, and he's one to keep on side, as is the well-handicapped favourite Trapper Peak, however the latter's only win came on good ground and he has looked too keen on his latest starts. Triple Chief has no ground worries and is selected to bounce back to form.
16:00 - Billy No Name has conditions to suit, is on the upgrade, and looks the bet of the day. Collin Tizzard's charge impressed when winning at the track in February and can put his stamina to good use. The well-handicapped Vicenzo Mio ran a good race at Taunton behind Nesterenko last week, and that form looks better than Baratineur's, as it wasn't much of a race that he won last month. At a bigger price, Darebin looks interesting. He didn't make the cut for a couple of races at the Cheltenham Festival but a mark of 125 looks workable.
16:35 - Another good opportunity for Authorized Too, though supporters may have felt the same last time when he found just one too good for the third time over hurdles. This looks a weaker race though, with Tara Bridge having had even more chances and Carqalin bitterly disappointing on his UK debut last month.
17:10 - Saroque looks fairly handicapped again and he gets the vote, along with last year's winner Itoldyou. The latter is now 3 lb lower than for his win here last season and he tries a visor for the first time, while the former is only 4 lb higher than his Exeter win in November and this is a drop in grade. Blameitallonmyroots and Coolking both look progressive of late, and rate the biggest dangers.
17:45 - Loves Destination will appreciate the ground but he has something to prove over the trip and as a result it might be worth chancing that Double Court is on a going day. He's very unreliable but there was more promise at Huntingdon earlier this month and his mark and very light weight could combine to give him the best chance of a win to date.
