Timeform take you through the card at Newbury on Tuesday evening.

"That form leaves her 3 lb clear of her nearest rival on Timeform ratings and she looks worth a bet at the current prices..."

16:40 - FIELDS OF FORTUNE (11) made an encouraging start to his career when second at Newbury last month, staying on strongly from the rear of the field and looking the horse to take out of the race with the future in mind. He is entitled to improve with that initial outing under his belt and - 11 lb clear of those with previous experience on Timeform ratings - Fields of Fortune can get the better of the newcomer Je Suis Charlie and is an obvious selection in this opening leg of the Placepot.

17:10 - NAYYAR (2) failed to cope with the demands of the Molecomb Stakes at Goodwood last month, but had looked a fairly useful prospect when making a successful racecourse debut at Chepstow and gave the impression his experience on the Sussex Downs would bring him on again. Norther Danger is an obvious danger in search of the hat-trick, but trainer Charlie Hills could hardly be in better form at present (nine winners from last 36 runners) and his Nayyar is fancied to resume winning ways here.

17:45 - SCATTERED STARS (7) appears to have had some issues given that he didn't make his debut until the August of his three-year-old campaign, but showed that he has an engine when second here and is likely to have learnt plenty from that initial experience. The way he finished his race suggests the step up to a mile and a half will see him in an even better light and he is preferred to the same owner's Henry Croft, who was a good second in a hot maiden at Brighton in June.

18:20 - WRAPPED (7) made the most of a good opportunity at Redcar last month, belatedly opening her account at the fifth time of asking and not needing to improve on her previous form to do so. That may not have been the strongest race of its kind, but the first three did pull some 11 lengths clear of the remainder and, with the cheekpieces now applied for her handicap debut, Wrapped is fancied to make the improvement necessary to land this fourth leg of the Placepot.

18:50 - POOLE BELLE (9) showed improved form to make a successful handicap debut at Salisbury three weeks ago, travelling smoothly into contention as the field entered the final furlong and appearing to have more in hand than the official winning margin would suggest. That form leaves her 3 lb clear of her nearest rival on Timeform ratings and she looks worth a bet at the current prices. She is joined in the Placepot by FIELD GAME (7), who was a good winner over this C&D last month and may have been feeling the effects of that effort when disappointing at York seven days later.

19:20 - HIER ENCORE (8) was disappointing when down the field on his most recent outing at Deauville, but can be forgiven one blip in a series of otherwise consistent efforts and could well be open to more improvement now stepped up to two miles for the first time. Indeed, he gave the impression this trip would be right up his street when second at Lingfield last month and - still relatively lightly-raced for a four-year-old - he can shed his maiden tag in this final leg of the Placepot.

19:50 - ZAIN ARION (5) shaped better than the bare result when fourth of five on her most recent outing at Kempton, suffering interference as the field entered the final two furlongs and not knocked about once her chance had gone. She had been progressive prior to that and deserves another chance to confirm the promise of her earlier win at Yarmouth.
