12:50 - DANCEINTOTHELIGHT (2) perhaps found his last start at Ludlow before Christmas coming a little too soon after his win at Catterick (turned out just 8 days later) and can bounce back here. He represents an in-form yard and may get the run of the race out in front. The unexposed on in the field is PEPPAY LE PUGH (1) and he could run well on his handicap debut under Brian Hughes.
13:20 - Mister Don was third over C&D last time but probably needs a stiffer test of stamina to be seen to best effect, and this could go to LANDMARQUE (2), who needs to brush up on his jumping in this sphere but arrives here on the back of a good win over hurdles at this track.
13:50 - This should be a straightforward task for APPY DAYS (1) who should be suited by a sharp two miles (showed plenty of speed in bumpers) and looks to have been found a good oppertunity to get off the mark in this sphere, with her biggest challenger on form - Irish raider Verona Opera - having had plenty of goes previously.
14:25 - STAMP YOUR FEET (9) belied market weakness to win at Hereford last time and a 3 lb rise in the weights for that looks lenient enough. A flat-bred horse who was speedy enough to win a bumper over a mile and three-quarters, he should be able to land the double at a track that should suit.
15:00 - CHAIN OF BEACONS (7) has yet to win a race, but he is the type to make a better chaser than a hurdler, and duly showed his best form to date when second at Hexham in October. He shaped better than the distance beaten suggested when fourth of nine at Kelso after that - didn't get home after making a bad error early on and contesting a strong pace throughout - and is worth another chance at a track that should reward his prominent racing position. Representing an in-form yard with Brian Hughes taking over from a claimer, he looks a strong candidate.
15:35 - A mark of 78 probably isn't beyond MOSCOW CALLING (9), after he showed his first form on his handicap debut here in early-January (back from a break in first-time blinkers). He should run well again in what is a modest race.
16:05 - An interesting bumper. Sliding Doors has Richard Johnson booked, but doesn't have much of a pedigree, so it could be worth siding with the only former winner in the field, The Linksman, who won well at Sedgefield on the back of a break in December and should have more to offer here.
