"Nicky Henderson sent My Tent Or Yours out to win this race in 2011..."

12:20- While Le Prezien was probably flattered by finishing so close to the exciting Yanworth at Warwick last time, that is still the best hurdling form on offer here, and he should feature in the finish on just his second start for the champion trainer. Phillip Hobbs' horses command plenty of respect in this sphere and Casper King - who showed fairly useful bumper form last season - could be the favourite's biggest danger.

12:55- Fourth Act was put up 9 lbs for his wide-margin Carlisle win last month, but his new mark may not be beyond him, considering that he appeared to hold every chance when falling five out at Newbury last time. There are a number of horses open to improvement here though, not least Double Shuffle, who held his own in a red-hot novice's chase at Cheltenham last time and looks a banker to win over fences at some point.

13:30- Sir Valentino got away with making a few characteristic errors last time when putting up a career-best performance here, but he may have been a tad fortunate on the day, considering that three of his rivals - including the re-opposing Jayo Time - made early exits, which made the race somewhat less competitive than it promised to be. Jayo Time's exit that day was not his fault, and he is worth giving another chance here to make it three wins at this track since joining Kerry Lee in the Summer.

14:05- Although Scales looks well in at the weights here, turned out under the same mark as when second at Warwick last week, he could be one to avoid in this, considering he had a hard race on heavy ground that day. He may still have enough to see off what are a modest bunch, but for Placepot purposes it could be worth including both Guaracha, who has improved on all three of his starts in maidens - and last-time-out winner Nafaath.

14:40- Gorsky Island was unable to record a hat-trick of victories at this course when bumping into an unexposed one in this race last year, but he remains lightly-raced, and considering he has probably had this race on his radar for some time - including when having a pipe-opener over hurdles at Warwick recently - he looks the one to be with at the prices, in what is a cracking race. The Tourard Man was well-backed on his chasing debut for Alan King last time at Exeter, and was ultimately disappointing when well beaten, but could have yet more to offer in this sphere.

15:10- Very little between Miss Crick and Mozo, who both made encouraging starts to life over timber last time, and remain open to improvement with this step up in trip set to suit. Pulling Power looks best of the rest, after a respectable effort in a listed bumper at Cheltenham last time.

15:40- Nicky Henderson sent My Tent Or Yours out to win this race in 2011, and his runner today, Rather Be, is worth a second look here. Rather Be has already shown his quirky side when he unseated his rider when sent off favourite for race at this track last season, but a first-time hood should help him focus, and he is a fascinating contender in the context of this race.
