Timeform take you through the card at Lingfield on Thursday.
"That rise doesn’t seem overly harsh and he can continue his progress by taking this."
14:00 - A muddling race to work out from a pace angle, as none will be overly eager to take initiative, but it's hard to ignore the credentials of Gunner Moyne, who arrives in search of a hat-trick after two quick-fire wins at a lower grade at Chelmsford last month. This will be tougher from 6 lbs higher in the weights, but that rise doesn't seem overly harsh and he can continue his progress by taking this. Whaleweigh Station, like most of these, finds winning tough, but kept on well when third here last week and can feature, whilst Skidby Mill boasts a good record over C&D and must also be feared.
14:35 - An uncompetitive maiden, which may well turn into a match race between the two market principles. Sarmadee is shading favouritism at the time of writing, and sets the standard on the back of his third at Wolverhampton at the beginning of the month. However, a chance is taken on Esteemable, who has progressed on both of her starts so far and may just have too much for the favourite in what's likely to become a tactical affair. Pearly Prince isn't necessarily out of it, but he will need to come on a fair bit for his first two runs, whilst Lmntrix looks out of his depth here.
15:10 - With most of these producing very little form of note, the nod goes to Leitrim Traveller, who has at least managed to get his head in front. The selection made just about all to score at Kempton last month, and can do so again if forgiven his run at Southwell on a surface where he has yet to prove his effectiveness. Intimately was narrowly denied by Leitrim Traveller in that race at Kempton and has claims on 4 lb better terms, whilst Guapo Bay has gone close in the past and it would be of no surprise if he proved good enough today.
15:45 - A race that could be dominated by any of the three market principles, who met a fortnight ago at Kempton Park. That race was won by Justice First, who showed a good attitude to collar Franco's Secret in the dying strides, with Charlie's Mate back in fourth. Justice First is up 4 lb in the weights for that win, but he posted a career-best effort that day at a distance which seems to suit, and it's not out of the question that he can pull out a little more again to double up. Therefore he gets a narrow preference. My Target wasn't involved in that race but is strong in the market today, and commands respect having gone close at Chelmsford last time.
16:20 - A puzzling handicap, where all 8 runners have a creditable chance of taking the spoils. James Bond Girl suggested a step up in trip would suit when staying on at Wolverhampton recently and has claims now tried over further, whilst Birdie Queen may well be competitive now returned to her last winning mark. However, a chance is taken on the lightly-raced Brindle, who is an intriguing runner for her powerful stable. Brindle has a long layoff to overcome and, but she has been found a winnable contest for her return and can build on her early promise in maidens. With not many likely to make the pace, she can have her own way upfront and can go well with improvement a definite possibility.
16:55 - Quality Art looks to be hitting top gear after an absence, and can build on his third at Wolverhampton last time - where he did little wrong - by returning to winning ways here, off his last winning mark. Diamond Charlie is on a sustained losing run, but showed encouragement on his latest second at Kempton and rates at the biggest danger, whilst the booking of Adam Kirby on Pucon catches the eye, and she can go well at a bigger price if allowed to dominate upfront.
