12:25 - Dellaguista seemed to find a mile too much last time at Newcastle (no surprise her pedigree - by Sea The Stars but half-sister to a 6f winner) and should be suited by the drop to 7f here. She hasn't achieved quite as much as MOONSHINE DANCER (8) has, however, and she shaped with plenty of promise on debut at Newcastle last time. She was slowly away but travelled well in the main and was perhaps caught further back than ideal.

12:55 - MUNRO (2) won a 12-runner maiden at Kempton last time from the front, taking a big step forward from his debut run in the process, and he should have more to offer here on his handicap debut from a good draw and with Richard Kingscote - who does particularly well when riding from the front - on board again. Improvement will be required from his opening mark, however, and it could also be worth including DANDY FLAME (5) who caught the eye over five furlongs here on her penultimate start and is worth another chance to build on that after a flat run at Newcastle last time.

13:30 - A tight and interesting staying handicap. The stamina on MAMOO's (8) dam's side and the fact that he is by Sir Percy offers plenty of hope that he can improve for the step up to this trip here. And after shaping as if this sort of mark would not be beyond him earlier in the season on turf, he should run well. TRUST THE MAN (7) wasn't seen to best effect last time at Chelmsford and represents a red-hot yard, so is also worth including.

14:05 - BUNBURY (1) caught the eye in a major way under an inexperienced claimer last time and despite being raised 4 lb in the weights since, still makes plenty of appeal back under a more experienced rider here.

14:35 - ARTFUL ROGUE (5) did really well to pick up the well-handicapped River Dart here last time after giving that rival a five-length head start, and now he is up and running again (an injury had put him out for nearly two years prior to 2016) he should be hard to beat from just 6 lb higher in the weights. Hermann is the unexposed one and arrives here after a Wolverhampton maiden win.

15:05 - GOODBYE INHERITANCE (1) has ironically burnt plenty of fingers in his time, but did run well for second behind an unexposed three-year-old here last time (despite making his challenge from further back than many that he beat), and looks to have been found a good opportunity to belatedly get off the mark here.

15:35 - This doesn't look a strong race of its type and looks a good opening for Karisma to open her account after running in some much warmer maidens over the summer.

Recommendations:

Win back Bunbury in the 14:05 at Lingfield

Placepot permutation:

12:25 - 8
12:55 - 2, 5
13:30 - 7, 8
14:05 - 1
14:35 - 5
15:05 - 1
