14:20 - A far from prolific field for the opener, though all six have a creditable chance of posting a success today. A large portion of the runners will want to make the running, including Colourfilly, who deserves favouritism for her effort last time out at Wolverhampton, when she was collared late on. This should ensure a reasonable pace upfront, and that may well provide perfect conditions for Desert Morning, who needed a stronger gallop last time out when a close-up fifth, and she may well find herself to be going best in the closing stages. Make On Madam should go close after finishing fourth on return from a break at Southwell last time, whilst Tabla can also feature if getting her own way upfront.
14:55 - This race could well revolve around the well-bred Steam Ahead, who looked a promising type on debut when runner-up over C&D last month. He looks sure to come on for that with experience under his belt, and should have too much for his three rivals. The next two in the market have now had several chances to get their heads in front, especially Phantom Flipper, who has been runner-up on no less than seven occasions in his career so far and could well be booked for that accolade again today. Kyllukey has also been running creditably and was clear in second last time but will need more today, while Ince Moss looks to be up against it.
15:25 - Pharoh Jake could well have his turn today, after putting in a fine performance here on Saturday to finish second. He's turned around quickly to appear again here, but is 5 lb lower than his last winning mark and can have leading claims in this having seemingly got back to his best. Tony Carroll has three in opposition and the biggest threat could well be Promina, who's on a fair mark at the moment and can give the Pharoh the most to think about.
16:00 - Another tight contest, where a chance is taken on Fleckerl to bounce back to form now returned to Lingfield. It's a little disappointing that the selection hasn't been able to hold his form since scoring here last month, but all three of his subsequent starts have been away from Lingfield, and with a good chance he'll get a solid pace to aim at, he can make amends today. Plenty have claims, and Captain Revelation can get involved with a 7 lb claimer on his back, whilst Johnny B Goode has been given a chance by the handicapper, and could take advantage.
16:40 - Summerinthecity's last run probably isn't a fair reflection of his form at the moment, when things just didn't go his way. Richard Fahey's runner is forgiven for that run, having returned to form at Chelmsford the time before that, and can make amends off what is still a handy mark. Gulland Rock is a big danger having scored 10 days ago and a 3 lb higher mark may well not be enough to stop him, whilst the admirable Ocean Legend can complete the places.
17:05 - Celtic Ava is in really good heart at the moment, scoring twice at Kempton last month despite not being ideally placed. A 2 lb rise may well not be enough to stop her scoring again, and she can complete the hat-trick stepped back up in trip. Cosmic Halo heads the dangers having slipped to a dangerous mark, with Friday's second here suggesting her turn may be near, whilst Time Square can feature if getting his own way up front.
