Timeform take you through the card at Kempton on Wednesday evening.

16:25 - Quality Moment is well-bred but it is strange to see her starting out over this trip (related to sprinter Hot Streak). SOGHAN (5) looks more suited to this sort of test on pedigree and, representing a yard who can ready one first time out, she is worth including for the Placepot along with STONE THE CROWS (6), who produced a promising first effort when fourth at Nottingham earlier this month and is entitled to improve on that here.

16:55 - An open race. SEXTON BLAKE (13) caught the eye on his penultimate start and should run well now dropped in grade with cheekpieces added. VIRILE (2) needs them to go a good gallop to get involved (usually held up) but is probably still on a workable mark for the in-form Sylvester Kirk team and is also worth including.

17:25 - FIVETWOEIGHT (3) cost a fair bit at the breeze-ups and should be a precocious type that can run well first time up for Peter Chapple-Hyam, who had a first-time-out juvenile winner in September.

17:55 - Plenty to like about AL REEH (1) as he drops back in trip following a good third here last time. He looked the most likely winner that day approaching the final furlong (touched 5/1-on in-running on Betfair) but didn't find as much as looked likely as his stamina seemingly gave way. Now back at six furlongs, he can get off the mark.

18:25 - There's a fair bit to like about THE BIG LAD (2) as he drops back in grade here following an eye-catching fifth (no clear run) at Lingfield last time. He went off the boil somewhat in mid-2016 following a promising start to his career which included two wins in handicaps over this C&D (the latter from 4 lb higher in the weights than his current mark), but was contesting some hot races and should be much more at home back at this level.

18:55 - BESS OF HARDWICK (5) did well to reel in one who got first run last time at Lingfield and, still lightly raced, she should have more to offer, with this track likely to suit her style better. CURBYOURENTHUSIASM (2) had a tough time of things on turf in 2016 but is unexposed on the all-weather and arrives here on the back of a good win at Chelmsford last time where he won readily despite a slow start.

19:25 - HAKAM (11) has had excuses on his last couple of starts and is well worth another chance to build on his good win at Chelmsford back in September. Unexposed at six furlongs and having not been with his new yard long, he could have more to offer yet.

19:55 - Very tricky low-grade stuff. A small positive mention can be give to Claude Greenwood, who will be advantaged in this hands-and-heels contest (where it is tricky to make up ground from off the pace) if taking up his normal front-running position.

Win back HAKAM (11) in the 19:25

Placepot permutation:

16:25 - 5, 6
16:55 - 2, 13
17:25 - 3
17:55 - 1
18:25 - 2
18:55 - 2, 5
