Timeform take you through the evening card at Kempton Park on Wednesday.

"...he is entitled to improve for that first outing in over two months and had previously showed fairly useful form when second here in August..."

17:55 - Glasgow Central returned to something like his best form when scoring at Lingfield last month and defied a 5 lb hike in the weights when recording a first victory on turf at Brighton nine days ago. He has another 6 lb penalty for that victory to contend with here, but he was placed off a BHA mark of 74 at Bath 12 months ago and the fair form he has showed of late leaves his rivals with 5 lb to find on Timeform ratings. He is joined in the Placepot by Harlestone Hopes, who races off the same mark as when second at Lingfield last time and remains relatively unexposed.

18:25 - Tarboosh failed to make it to a racecourse as a two-year-old and the fact he has already been gelded suggests he may not have been the most straightforward to train. However, those with previous experience don't set too high a standard for him to try and match on debut and - a half-brother to the smart Carry On Deryck - Tarboosh looks worth a second look for his powerful connections. Gregarious showed fair form in two starts towards the end of last season and is also considered for Placepot purposes, with the drop back to seven furlongs likely to be in his favour.

18:55 - Magical Forest ran an encouraging race on her racecourse debut at Nottingham 12 days ago and, having suffered trouble-in-running as the field entered the final furlong, she was arguably unlucky not to have finished much closer to the potentially useful winner. She is entitled to do better with that outing under her belt and the way she ran on under a hands-and-heels ride suggests the step up to this longer trip is unlikely to be a problem. There are some interesting newcomers in opposition, but it would be a major surprise if Magical Forest failed to make the frame.

19:25 - Almodovar remains quite lightly-raced for a four-year-old with just four career starts to his name, but he has always been well-regarded by trainer David Lanigan and showed a useful level of form when second in a Pontefract handicap on his final start of 2015. A member of Timeform's Fifty to Follow on the Flat for this season, he has been gelded since that latest outing and, although the form of the yard is a slight concern, Almodovar remains potentially well-handicapped on a BHA mark of 93. He is joined in the Placepot by Zamperini, who defied concerns about his attitude to score at Newmarket in October and should make a better four-year-old.

19:55 - Dutch Law returned from over six months off the track with a creditable second in a big-field handicap at Ascot, never looking likely to trouble the impressive winner, but sure to have finished closer with a better passage through the race. He was briefly hampered with over two furlongs to run that day and, racing off the same mark here, that form leaves Dutch Law behind only long-term absentee Cape Icon on Timeform ratings. Important Point is an obvious danger, but the consistent Welliesinthewater is preferred with the Placepot in mind and joins Dutch Law in a tricky heat.

20:25 - Cascading Stars was well below his best on debut for the Daniel Loughnane yard at Doncaster last time, but he is entitled to improve for that first outing in over two months and had previously showed fairly useful form when second here in August. Indeed, many of his best efforts have come at this venue and - back down to same BHA mark as when successful over the C&D in November 2014 - he makes plenty of appeal in against some similarly out of form rivals. Misu Pete is also included in the final leg of the Placepot after a luckless passage at Chelmsford last month.

20:55 - Ghost Train narrowly heads the field for the finale on Timeform ratings and looks worth a chance in a race where very few can be ruled out with any confidence. The selection is winless in nine previous visits to this track, but he has finished second on three occasions and was a good winner at Lingfield in December. He hasn't been disgraced in four subsequent starts and should prove competitive off a mark just 3 lb higher than when last successful.
