Timeform take you through the card at Fontwell on Friday.
"It is feasible to think that his yard will have had this race in mind for him for some time..."
14:15 - Hard to rule out any of these juveniles, who all barring Marmont are having a first start over hurdles. DESERT CROSS (2) was the only horse to actually win on the Flat, and naturally makes plenty of appeal for Jonjo O'Neil. SISANIA (7) has joined a yard in fine form and is also respected based on the pick of her Flat form for Marco Botti.
14:50 - Paul Nicholls has won three of the last five runnings of this novices' chase, and his FRODON (4) sets the standard on his eight-length win at Newton Abbot earlier this month. CLEAN SHEET (2) never got things together in handicaps over hurdles but remains lightly raced/with potential in that sphere and is an interesting recruit to chasing.
15:25 - HYGROVE PERCY (5) is the clear pick at the weights with a hefty three-year-old allowance and should be hard to beat on paper. If there is one to overthrow him it could be EXCELLENT TEAM (1), who won over C&D on his penultimate start and lost little in defeat to the progressive The Mayo Man (who followed up yesterday at Warwick) last time at Worcester.
16:00 - Plenty to like about WORKBENCH (5) who has won this race for the last two years. He is now higher in the weights than on both those occasions, but he is not badly treated considering he placed in a hot handicap at Cheltenham last winter off a 9 lb higher mark than this. It is feasible to think that his yard will have had this race in mind for him for some time, and he can land the hat-trick.
16:35 - WIZARDS BRIDGE (2) has fallen to a very tempting mark (3 lb below the one he defied at Exeter this time last season) and could well have been revitalised by a summer break, so makes plenty of appeal with main challenger Follow The Swallow a non-runner.
17:10 - One of the most open races of the day. After a poor end to last season over fences the handicapper has given THEATRICAL STAR (2) a real chance now reverting to timber, given that he is now some 16 lb lower than when second at Sandown last season over fences, and he could be worth chancing. Easy to see why connections have reverted to the smaller obstacles with HAZEL HORACE (3) who put in a sketchy display of jumping when falling at Worcester last time on his second start over fences. He placed off this mark over C&D in May, and should be there or thereabouts again.
